Parenting for Kid’s Sake is a flexible, digital-learning program to support parents in building healthier, more connected family life. You’ll engage in approximately 4½ hours of well-researched content delivered through an online portal. The curriculum includes 13 video segments, interactive exercises, diagrams, assessments and quizzes—all organized around four major skill areas. Optional coaching sessions are available to reinforce your learning, increase accountability and adapt tools to your unique parenting stage.

This program is designed for all kinds of parents—married, single, blended, adoptive, step, co-parents and beyond. If you’ve ever wanted to understand your children in a deeper way, struggled with conflict, or want to build more connection, not just control—this is the opportunity. This program is suited for parents ready to develop practical parenting habits that make a lasting difference in their kids’ lives. You’ll likely see the most growth when you add the coaching option—especially if your home rhythm feels stuck or stress-filled.

Session 3: Managing anger and resolving conflict
You'll see what happens in the brain when we get angry and how to calm them. Learning a simple conflict resolution tool, the SOS, will give you productive outcomes when experiencing disagreements and differences. The 4 Communication Danger Signs, Amygdala Hijack, Timeout, Letting Off Steam, and the SOS are key tools/insights.
Session 4: Nuts and bolts of healthy parenting
You'll gain an understanding of your parental job description with the 4 C's. Planning family meetings, listing family goals and managing screen time are valuable and practical skills as you wrap up this course on parenting. The Wish List, 5 Parenting Styles, Disciplining Children, Leading Family Meetings, Achieving Goals, and Kid's Brains and Screens are key tools/insights.
Session 1: Connecting with your children
You'll acquire several practical tools to understand and relate to your children in a way that fits their unique styles, experiences and preferences. The RINGS Chat, 5 Love Languages, DISC personality assessment, and Love & Logic explanation are key tools/insights.
Session 2: Dealing with stress and conflict
You'll come to understand your own and your children's responses when things get tense in your home. Exploring your own family tree will add insights to what you want to keep and what you want to discard. The 6 stress animals and 4 core strategies are key tools/insights.
