Mabry Bio
David and Theresa Mabry bio 2024:
David and Theresa Mabry were married on June 12, 1993, and are the proud parents of Alex (married to Katy), Taylor, and Gabe (married to Mackenzie). They also delight in being grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren.
Their journey together has been deeply rooted in full-time ministry. David has served in diverse roles, including youth pastor, sports and recreation pastor, and senior pastor. He has also held significant positions as the Executive Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in West Central Ohio, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, and professor of Bible, Theology, and Marriage/Family Ministry at both Barclay College and Ohio Christian University.
Theresa primarily dedicated herself to being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooled each of their children through high school graduation. She later worked as a Pre-K teacher in a childcare center for several years. In addition, she has held various leadership roles both within and outside the church.
Since 2006, David and Theresa have been committed to enhancing marital and relational health. They began their work at the Marriage Resource Center–Miami Valley and later founded One Another Relationships, Inc. in 2008. Through this organization, they have positively impacted countless marriages and families through educational programs, coaching, and consulting. Currently, David serves as the Executive Director, while Theresa is the Director of Operations at Encompass.
Their academic journey began at Malone College, where David earned a B.A. in Christian Ministries and Theresa earned a B.S. in Education. David further pursued graduate studies, earning master’s degrees in Theology and Divinity, as well as a doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership from Ashland Theological Seminary in 2015. His dissertation focused on improving marital health within the local church context through the Prepare-Enrich Group Program.
Outside of their ministry work, they enjoy traveling, planning creative date nights, spending quality time with their family, and sharing laughter with friends over great food.
