Mabry Bio
David and Theresa Mabry bio 2024:
David and Theresa Mabry were married on June 12, 1993, and are the proud parents of Alex (married to Katy), Taylor, and Gabe (married to Mackenzie). They also delight in being grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren.
Their journey together has been deeply rooted in full-time ministry. David’s diverse roles have included serving as a youth pastor, sports and recreation pastor, and senior pastor. He has also held significant positions as the Executive Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in West Central Ohio, the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, and a professor of Bible, Theology, and Marriage/Family Ministry at Barclay College. Theresa has primarily been a stay-at-home mom and homeschooled each child through high school graduation. She then went on to serve as a PreK teacher in a childcare center for several years. In addition, Theresa has served in many leadership roles within and outside the church.
Since 2006, David and Theresa have dedicated themselves to enhancing marital and relational health. They began with the Marriage Resource Center-Miami Valley and later founded One Another Relationships, Inc. in 2008. Through One Another Relationships, they have positively impacted countless marriages and families with their educational programs, coaching, and consulting. Currently, David serves as the Executive Director, while Theresa is the Director of Operations at Encompass.
Their academic journey began at Malone College, where David earned a BA in Christian Ministries and Theresa earned a BS in Education. David further pursued his studies and received a doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership in 2015 from Ashland Theological Seminary. His dissertation focused on impacting marital health within the local church context through the Prepare-Enrich Group Program.
David and Theresa are excited to return to Encompass Connection Center as Co-Directors. Outside of their ministry work, they enjoy traveling, planning creative date nights, spending quality time with their family, and sharing laughter with friends over great food.

David serves as a professor and the director of the MA in Family Ministry at Barclay College, a role he has held since 2015. His ministry journey has included roles as a youth pastor, senior pastor, and Executive Director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in West Central Ohio. Theresa homeschooled their children through high school, served as a PreK teacher, and has held numerous leadership roles in and outside the church.
