![]() By Abby Glaser Encompass Community Advocate One of the most common questions we hear at Encompass is, “Do you only help couples?” I personally love answering this question because it gives me the chance to talk about our incredible program for individuals—and I just happen to be the facilitator! Many people didn’t have great examples of healthy relationships growing up and often find themselves stuck in unproductive patterns. That’s where REACH comes in. It provides a practical ROADMAP for building strong communication, connection, and conflict resolution skills with the people you care about most. What Is REACH? REACH stands for Relationship Engagement And Communication Habits. It’s a program designed specifically for individuals who want to improve their relationship skills and increase their chances of creating healthy, long-term relationships, whether that’s in marriage, family, or other connections. Participants can be single, currently in a relationship, or even married—this program works for everyone! How Does It Work? REACH is flexible and can be tailored to your needs. You can complete it independently through our online platform or pair it with one-on-one coaching. Many participants find that having a coach to process their learning and apply the tools to their personal circumstances makes a huge difference. Coaching sessions can be scheduled weekly or biweekly to fit your lifestyle. The program consists of five engaging sessions that are packed with valuable insights and actionable steps. What Will You Learn? REACH is divided into five sessions, each focusing on a unique and essential skill set: 1. Spotting Red Flags and Making Healthy Decisions Learn how to identify potential issues, prioritize safety in relationships, and make choices that set you up for success. 2. Understanding Yourself Explore your personality, family background, and relationship expectations to gain a deeper understanding of how these factors influence your interactions. 3. Mastering Communication Skills Develop tools for effective communication and learn how to express and understand feelings more clearly. 4. Managing Stress and Anger Discover techniques to handle stress and anger in a healthy, constructive way. 5. Planning for the Future Equip yourself with strategies for making thoughtful decisions and creating a vision for your future relationships. What’s the First Step? If REACH sounds like it might be the right fit for you, the first step is simple: reach out to us for a free intake appointment. This can be done in person or virtually. During this session, we’ll get to know you better, understand where you might need extra support, and determine if REACH is the perfect match for your goals. We can’t wait to meet you and help you take the next step in building stronger, healthier relationships!
